dancer protection
Immediately remove yourself and/or your dancer from any situation that you believe poses a physical or emotional threat.

If you believe that you and/or your dancer is the victim of a crime, report your experiences and your concerns to a police authority in your local area.

An Coimisiún have established a new email address – confidential@clrg.ie – for the receipt of confidential information pertaining to matters which teachers and others wish to bring to the attention of An Coimisiún. This email will be monitored continuously by a senior member of An Coimisiún and any information received at this address will be passed confidentially to the relevant officers of An Coimisiún. Where necessary, information will also be passed to the relevant legal, police and/or judicial authorities in appropriate jurisdictions.

If you suspect that an Irish Dancing teacher or adjudicator, certified by and registered with An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha violates the CLRG Child Protection Policy, the CLRG Code of Conduct, and/or other rules of An Coimisiún, you can also report the details of your observations, experiences and concerns in an email to Faire@clrg.ie. The Ethics Committee of An Coimisiún le Rinci Gaelacha is named Coiste Faire (pronounced koosh-ta far). A representative of Coiste Faire will contact you and they will begin the process of investigating your concerns.
