A message from the #SRO2019 Oireachtas Committee

We appreciate the support of an assortment of vendors every year.  We think that bringing their retail businesses to a central location at the Oireachtas is a convenience for you.  The vendors that support our Oireachtas pay a licensing fee that helps us pay for the expenses of the Oireachtas.  They are required to provide proof of liability insurance.  They are required to agree with and follow An Coimisiún’s Child Protection policies in order to help protect our dancers.

We have a large contingent of vendors for the 2019 Southern Region Oireachtas.  There is limited space at every venue.  We began accepting contracts in September and continued until November 10th.  We could not accommodate every vendor.  We could not accommodate some vendors who submitted their contracts after the deadline.

Please support only those vendors who have supported our Oireachtas by cooperating with our volunteers, completing the required process, and supporting our Oireachtas by paying the vendor licensing fee.  Those vendors are:

With the exception of Shamrock Photo Central and Tir Na Nog Tanning, all vendors will be located in the Vendor Village in Exhibition Hall D on the lower Atrium level.  There will also be food concessions, a practice stage and a seating area on this level as well.

The primary purpose of the Irish Dance Teachers Association of North America-Southern Region is to conduct the Oireachtas to qualify our dancers to compete in Oireachtas Rince na Cruinne, the World Irish Dancing Championships.  Your teachers and the Southern Region’s adjudicators invest thousands of measured volunteer hours to plan, organize, finance and execute the event each year.  In addition to the basics, we try to plan an event that will be fun, interesting and convenient for our dancers and their families.  Please help us by supporting our authorized vendors.

Sincerely,
Oireachtas Committee
